Since I went to Library School when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I wish I had learned more about technology. And I don't remember any discussion of budgets, or standards. Of course, the course I took was very general, and now I would like to learn more about School Librarianship! How times have changed!
Perhaps a course or lesson time management would be helpful, especially in the context of the library world. Like, how do you stay on top of new books, complete book orders, read professional journals, participate in important discussions, brainstorm effective lesson plans, AND teach, monitor kids in the library, collaborate with colleagues, etc. with little or no assistance and continuously improve your library program?
